Suchismita Goswami's Terra-cotta
Suchismita Goswami at 60 is creating wonders in Terra-cotta.
A graduate from Calcutta University, she did a course in Terra-cotta from Lalit
Kala Academy, Chennai in 1989. Her gurus were Vijay Velu and C. Dakshina
Murti. She developed into a mature artist under the watchful eyes of her illustrious
husband
Santwana Goswami.

She works with her sister-in-law-cum-student
Chitra Raha,54, who is also a
graduate from Calcutta University. Between them, they are also into designing
Saris, Batik and Fabric paint works.
