Glimpses of the Nicobars

manuscript. This article was published in the English daily Hindustan
Times, from New Delhi some time in March 1953. This is perhaps one
of the earliest description of the Nicobar Islands by a mainlander.
The author began his carrier as a stenographer-cum typist and rose to
the position of "Private Secretary" to the Chief Commissioner of
Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India.
