A disciple of Suchitra Mitra the doyen of Rabindra Sangeet. Created and composed by the Nobel Laureate
Tagore, Rabindra Sangeet is the most popular form of music among the Bengalis all over the world and of
course in West Bengal as well as in Bangladesh. Sagarika has a Diploma in Rabindra Sangeet from the
prestigious music academy 'Robitirtha' in Kolkata. She is also attached to 'Korak' a music institute, under
Sumitra Chattopadhyay, another eminent Rabindra Sangeet singer of Bengal.
Here she is accompanied by Anjan Bose-Esraz, Subrata Mukherjee-Key board, Tapas Paul-Tabla, Shuva
Chakrabarty-Sitar, Debashis Mukherjee-Sarod, Bidyut Mondal-Spanish Guitar & Tapan Adhikari-Mandira.
Music was arranged by Swapan Chattopadhyay.
