College under the University of Kolkata. He took up a job with a Nationalised Bank in Kolkata
after graduation and is still attached to the same organisation. He lives with his wife and two
daughters at Shyamnagar in North 24 Paraganas district.

He is a very good organiser and was for a very long time the secretary of the Old Boys &
Teachers Association of his Alma Mater
Sainik School Purulia.

During his school days he studied Art under great Indian Master
Phalguni Dasgupta and Gaur Pada
Goswami. Though he does not have any Solo Exhibitions to his credit, he has taken part in group
exhibitions organised by Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata and the Rabindra Bharati University and
others.

His Paintings speak for themselves. He is at home in Water Colour, Oil or most other mediums. In
many of his works he has adopted the technique of immersing the canvas in paint floating on water.
What you see here is what the Academy of Fine Arts lost by his not taking up a professional
carrier in Art!
