A deciple of Pundit Tarun Bhattacharjee and Pundit Shyamal Chatterjee for last 15 yrs. He plays Santur for
All India Radio and Doordarshan, the National TV channel. Has also performed in many prestigious concerts
all over India such as Kal Ki Kalalar, Mumbai, organized by Sur Sringar Sangeet Samaj, where he was
awarded the Title
Suromani. He has played with stalwarts like Pt Bikram Ghosh.
