Founded The Rhythm in 1973 when he was just 18 years old! He still takes time
out of his Family business of Petroleum Products Retailing, for The Rhythm.
He is a self taught musician and plays Latin Percussions for the Band. Still he
calls Bultan Roy of Kolkata as his Guru.
He is a very revered veteran in Musical circles in this part of the sub-continent.
He is frequently invited as a Judge for various music competitions such as
North Bengal Idol, Uttor Dhonir Chhonde to mention a few. He is also invited to
judge the audition tests for various Radio and TV channels.
