A Street corner meeting in protest of State sponsored terrorism in Nandigram and against the abduction and wrongful
detention of Taslima Nasrin the Banladeshi writer by West Bengal Govt with the connivance of the Central Govt and the
Fundamentalist elements in the country organised by Nakshatra, a social service group headed by Ratna Bhowmik. This
meeting was held near PNB (Punjab National Bank) in Salt Lake, Kokata. The meeting was attended by members of various Human
Rights organisations and luminaries.
