Poet Beetasanka was born in Kolkata. He had his schooling at Beltola and then at Chakraberia. Finished his schooling from Mitra Institution, Bhabanipur and went on to complete his Bechelors in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University. His service took him all over India. He then came abroad and changed his stream to Computers in which he attained Ph.D. Presently he resides in Sydney.
His Academic life has not hindered his interests in poetry which he has been writing since his School days.
