The broadening of the Indian socio-cultural vision as a result of the Communist Movement in India, led to a group of highly creative persons believing in a different form of Idealism of the highest order. Pachu Ray belongs to this group. He has kept himself free from organised institutions as he does not want to compromise his personal freedom, which he believes, he may have to shed otherwise. His pen has undertaken the role of social conscience for almost four decades through his writings.
He was moved by the Nandigram Massacre and has been protesting all through at all forums. We feel honoured for being able to publish some of his writings here in our website www.milansagar.com
